We believe social movements can create change.

We are a non-partisan group that allows members to focus on the issues that they’re personally passionate about. Our actions focus on disrupting the seats of power held by corrupt politicians, economic imbalance, and human rights violations that threaten our future for the sake of greed and personal gain. We know we won’t change the world over night, but at the core of our actions, we aim to bring awareness to the transgressions that impact our communities.

People take part in and support peaceful actions in numerous ways, from holding banners to civil disobedience, designing leaflets to talking to people. Whatever role you are comfortable playing, whether on the streets, or behind the scenes, there is a place for you at Desert Rising.
