What are Resistance Kits?
¿Qué son los Kits de Resistencia?
Resistance refers to the actions and efforts taken by individuals or groups to challenge and oppose systems of oppression, injustice, or harmful practices. It can manifest through protests, advocacy, community organizing, and creative expressions aimed at promoting social and ecological justice.
La resistencia se refiere a las acciones y esfuerzos realizados por individuos o grupos para desafiar y oponerse a sistemas de opresión, injusticia o prácticas dañinas. Puede manifestarse a través de protestas, defensa de derechos, organización comunitaria y expresiones creativas orientadas a promover la justicia social y ecológica.
These kits contain different ways for you to resist:
– Whistles to alert your neighbors that ICE is present.
– Zines that enable you to educate yourself and others.
– Buttons to proudly display what you believe in.
– Stickers for you and your friends to decorate the city.
Estos kits contienen distintas formas de resistir:
– Silbatos para alertar a tus vecinos que el ICE está presente.
– Fanzines que te permiten educarte a ti mismo y a los demás.
– Botones para mostrar con orgullo lo que crees.
– Calcomanías para que tú y tus amigos decoren la ciudad.
Keep the kit for yourself, return to sender if you feel like it’s not for you, or share with a neighbor.
Quédate con el kit, devuélvelo al remitente si sientes que no es para ti, o compártelo con un vecino.
Each kit is uniquely made by community members that want to empower you in joining the fight against the transgressions that impact our community.
